Santa Marta, the Pearl of Gold

Day 1. Santa Marta:

Arrival in the city of Santa Marta, assistance at Simón Bolívar International Airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Accommodation.

Day 2. Santa Marta – City Tour:

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, we will start the tour, passing through the historic center and visiting the most representative attractions of the city such as the Basilica Cathedral of Santa Marta, the oldest cathedral in Colombia where the remains of the city's founder Rodrigo de Bastidas are located. We will also visit the Gold Museum or Customs House, the San Pedro Alejandrino House Museum, a former sugar mill where the Liberator Simón Bolívar spent his last days. Following this, we will visit the statue in honor of the Colombian footballer El Pibe Valderrama. Free time for photos and then we will continue with a panoramic tour of Taganga. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 3. Santa Marta – Tayrona National Natural Park – Cabo San Juan del Guía:

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, assistance at the hotel and departure to Tayrona National Park, located 45 minutes from Santa Marta, a nature sanctuary with fascinating biodiversity, beaches, and indigenous cultures. After passing through the Cañaveral sector, we will start our hike (approx. 1 hour) along the ecological trail until we reach the Arrecifes sector, where we will make a short stop to admire the landscape and take photos. We will continue to the beaches of Cabo San Juan del Guía (approx. 30 min hike) for a delightful swim in the sea. Free time for lunch (not included). The return will be along the same trail to the park entrance. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 4. Santa Marta – Next Destination:

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Simón Bolívar International Airport for the flight (not included) to the next destination.
