On Day 2, dive into the Golden Circle, where you’ll witness the erupting geysers of Geysir, the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, and Þjingvellir National Park, where tectonic plates meet. Continue along the South Coast with stops at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, ending the day in the charming town of Vík.

Journey through the southern reaches of Vatnajökull National Park, named after Europe's largest glacier. Admire the ice-filled Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, where icebergs glisten on black sands. Explore the stunning Skaftafell area and enjoy the peaceful snowy landscapes.

Wind through the dramatic East Fjords, known for their narrow fjords and small fishing villages. Stop in Breiðdalsvík for a microbrewery tasting and continue to Egilsstaðir, near Iceland’s largest forest and the legendary Lagarfljót Lake.

Cross the highland desert towards Lake Mývatn. Along the way, visit Dettifoss (weather permitting), Námaskarð geothermal pass, and Skútustaoir pseudo craters. Discover the volcanic wonders and otherworldly landscapes that make this region a favorite among filmmakers.

Begin with the mystical lava formations of Dimmuborgir, then marvel at the beautiful Goðafoss waterfall. Stop in Akureyri before following the coastal roads to Siglufjörður, where you'll visit the Herring Era Museum and learn about the town's fishing heritage.

Discover Icelandic heritage in Skagafjörður, renowned for its horses. Pass through Blönduós and continue to the saga-rich Borgarfjörður region, filled with mountains, rivers, and legends.

Marvel at Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring, and admire the lava-carved Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. End your journey at Þjingvellir National Park before returning to Reykjavík for your final evening in Iceland.
