About the destination: Poised right on the German border, sophisticated Strasbourg has been shuffled back and forth between Germany and France for centuries. Today it is a symbol of reconciliation between nations. In 1955 it was chosen the seat of the European Parliament. Cosmopolitan Strasbourg nonetheless remains thoroughly Alsatian in appearance, with its half-timbered houses, covered bridges and flower-lined canals. Start a tour at the mesmerising Gothic cathedral, whose light, open spire rises above the historic core of the city. While you wait for the delightful play of the horloge astronomique, astrological clock, be sure to see the Pilier des Anges, one of the high points of Gothic sculpture. Across from the cathedral are the elegant 18th Château des Rohan, housing a porcelain, archaeology, and fine arts museum and the Maison de l’Oeuvre Notre-Dame, a huge collection of medieval and Renaissance art. For folklore, visit the Musée Alsacien. During the summer, there are folklore and music programs, and a walk along the quays of La Petite France, the old quarter, is best on a warm summer night. Get a taste of the delicious Alsatian cuisine in one of the many riverside restaurants.

About the destination: Riquewihr is considered one of the most beautiful in France, and they are right. The name of this town comes from a landowner named Richo, he planted a vineyard here, and from there the area was known as "Richo Villa", this name evolved and derived into the name we now know. This town is very easy to navigate and very picturesque, it is a treasure for lovers of photography. And it also has some curiosities, and if you walk through its streets, you will see that it has double walls, the first dates from 1291, and the second that enlarges the city a little more, from 1500. Another of his curiosities is that this was the town in which Disney was inspired for the Beauty and the Beast movie. Some of its places of interest are the town hall, which acts as the door and entrance to the city and the Rue General de Gaulle, the main street that we find once we cross the town hall. In this street we can see different emblematic buildings, such as the Schikhardt house and El Gratte-ciel, two of the most beautiful and famous houses in the city; also the courtyard of the noble Berchkeim, the house of the Gourmet, the house of the class maker; and so on until reaching the Dolder (the old watchtower, field and upper gate of the city). Other places of interest are the Rue des Juifs, the Tower of Thieves, the Rue de Cerf and the Square of the Three Churches. And of course, do not forget to try their gastronomy, although remember that you must book before, because they work like that there, your stomach will thank you.
