Its main attractions are its gorgeous beaches with crystal-clear waters and its unspoiled nature. The island is flat and sandy with magnificent, unspoilt beaches. There are a few places where the land rises to present spectacular cliffs to the sea. It is perfect for cycling, walking, snorkelling and sailing. Its cultural attractions include some megalithic sites, a roman road, some watch-towers, the 18th century chapel of Sant Francesc Xavier and a small Ethnological museum. Most of the small villages and even the capital, San Francesc Xavier, have a rural character. Only the town of Es Pujols is a little bit more touristic.
